You must ride BART on a round trip basis to utilize any parking permits that are purchased using this system. You may not carpool away from the station with any permit type.
RESERVED PERMITS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE OF DATES NEEDED. THEY ARE NOT SOLD AT THE STATIONS.
You may purchase a monthly parking permit that allows you to utilize it for reoccurring daily use throughout the week at designated stations. These permits offer you a space to park in the stations permit/reserved areas up until 10 am Monday through Friday. After 10:00 am these permit/reserved areas are open to the general public and space cannot be reserved.
However, these permits do not allow for the vehicle to remain on BART property for any longer than 24 hours before they become subject to citation and possibly towing. For longer term permits please refer to APLT Airport / Long Term reservations.

The monthly parking permit allows parking at a designated station and it is offered on a calendar month basis, commencing on the first day of each month and continuing through to the last day of each month.
The Monthly Parking Fee is due and payable in advance and must be paid by the close of business on the 25th day of the preceding month for which parking is due. Failure to make payment for parking privileges in advance of each month will result in any and possibly all of the following. Cancellation of Parking Privileges; Receiving a Citation; Paying the Daily Parking Rates as Offered On-line or at the Station to Avoid Citation and or Towing. When initially purchasing your first Monthly Parking permit your first month fee will be prorate based on the days remaining in the month of purchase.
A monthly parking permit (Mirror hangtag) for the facility will be issued at the time this Agreement is acknowledged and payment has been received for the first month’s rental. You will be charged $4.85 for the mirror hangtag plus your first months parking at the time of your first month’s reservation. Should the mirror hangtag become lost, stolen or damaged and require replacement, a replacement charge of $4.40 will also be required. Should your parking be terminated and or cancelled for any reason, this pass must be returned to BART’s vendor within 5 business days or you will be charged $10 for an unreturned pass. When and if parking privileges have been terminated the space will be resold to the next person in line and where a wait-list exists, you will be subject to the rules and regulation governing wait-list procedures. Parking permits, waiting list positions and waiting list invitations are non-transferrable.
BART will provide a minimum of thirty (30) days’ calendar notice to Monthly Permit patrons of any rate adjustment or changes to parking rules and regulations.
