ATTN: Walnut Creek patrons:
Permit parking is located on the 1st floor and ramps to the 2nd floor of the original BART Walnut Creek Parking Garage located at 200 Ygnacio Valley Rd. These areas are signed for Permit Parking.

Early Bird Express parking is located in the fee parking area beginning on the second floor of the garage located at 200 Ygnacio Valley Rd.

Please DO NOT park in the newly constructed parking garage located at 120 Ygnacio Valley Rd as that is not managed by BART.

Early Bird Express passes are only for passengers taking the Early Bird Express buses when the BART system is closed. Click here to obtain a parking pass.


Single Day Reserved

You must ride BART on a round trip basis to utilize any parking permits that are purchased using this system. You may not carpool away from the station with any permit type.

Reserved permits must be purchased in advance of dates needed. They are not sold at the stations.

When you use the on-line reservation system you may purchase a maximum of 10 Single Day permits. This permit allows you to park in designated areas throughout the day and does NOT allow overnight parking. These permits offer you a space to park in the stations permit/reserved areas until 10:00am Monday through Friday. Single Day Reserved Permits may not be purchased earlier than two months in advance of desired reservation dates. Daily permits are only valid for the date on the Permit.

After 10:00am these permit/reserved areas are open to the general public and space cannot be reserved. After 10:00am you may park anywhere in the station's other non-restricted parking areas on a space available basis utilizing your single day reserved parking permit.

You may purchase a monthly parking permit that allows you to utilize it for reoccurring daily use throughout the week at designated stations. These permits offer you a space to park in the stations permit/reserved areas up until 10:00am Monday through Friday. After 10:00am these permit/reserved areas are open to the general public and space cannot be reserved.

However, these permits do not allow for the vehicle to remain on BART property for any longer than 24 hours before they become subject to citation and possibly towing. For longer term permits please refer to APLT Airport / Long Term reservations.

APLT (Airport/Long-Term)

You must ride BART on a round trip basis to utilize any parking permits that are purchased using this system. You may not carpool away from the station with any permit type.

Reserved permits must be purchased in advance of dates needed. They are not sold at the stations.

APLT (Airport/Long-Term) Program permits can be purchased for periods of up to 30 days. APLT permits may not be extended beyond this 30 day limit. If your APLT parking needs exceed the limits offered through this parking program, please seek alternative parking. APLT Program permits may not be purchased earlier than two months in advance of desired reservation dates. These permits offer you a space to park in the stations permit/reserved areas up until 10:00am Monday through Friday. After 10:00am these permit/reserved areas are open to the general public and space cannot be reserved.

Customers who purchase an APLT (Airport/Long-Term) parking permit may park in the station's permit/reserved or other areas that are non-restricted. This is the only permit that allows parking in excess of 24 consecutive hours and is subject to parking charges for weekends and holiday periods depending upon the start date and end date of the reservation and is as further explained below.
