Parking News

January 4, 2014

BART monthly permit holders:

Through recent increased permit enforcement, we have discovered a number of monthly parking permits that have not been updated. Please be sure that your BART parking permit method of payment is up to date, and if paying by credit card, your credit card is valid. When a BART Parking Permit is discovered to be invalid, the vehicle displaying that permit is cited and the permit is cancelled, giving an opportunity for someone on a long BART permit waiting list to obtain a permit.

Single Day Reserved

You must ride BART on a round trip basis to utilize any parking permits that are purchased using this system. You may not carpool away from the station with any permit type.

When you use the on-line reservation system you may purchase a maximum of 10 Single Day permits. This permit allows you to park in designated areas throughout the day and does NOT allow overnight parking. These permits offer you a space to park in the stations permit/reserved areas until 10 am Monday through Friday.

After 10:00 am these permit/reserved areas are open to the general public and space cannot be reserved. After 10 am you may park anywhere in the station's other non-restricted parking areas on a space available basis utilizing your single day reserved parking permit.
